Tiles, walls, doors, windows, sockets, taps, drainage. Each item says what to test and how, e.g. tap tiles for a hollow sound, pour water to check the floor trap.
Snap each defect and mark it with tape. KeyDay numbers it to match your tape label and records the room and wall.
Export the report for your BSC. After rectification, tick off each fix or flag it again, with reminders before your DLP ends.
One line per defect, with a photo reference, exact location and status. Easy for the BSC supervisor to follow during the joint inspection.

Not if you're systematic. A 4-room flat usually takes two to three hours. The checklist tells you what to test in each room, so you don't miss the usual suspects.
Your phone, painter's tape, a marker, a phone charger to test sockets, and a bottle of water to test drainage. A tile-tapping stick helps; some BSCs lend them.
For visible and easy-to-test defects, most owners do fine on their own. For hidden issues like concealed leaks or wiring faults, a pro with specialist tools can still be worth it. KeyDay tells you when to consider one.
